About ME

Angela Coleman is an award-winning graphic designer with more than 20 years of industry experience.

After graduating from Johnson County Community College—one of the most prestigious community colleges in the United States—with a degree in Applied Science, Angela was quickly recruited by MBB+ (formerly Muller + Company Design and Advertising Agency).

At MBB+, Angela was a successful Production Artist and worked on well-known campaigns, including North Kansas City Hospital and the Lyric Opera.

Within two years, she was promoted to Graphic Designer and contributed to more award-winning projects like the Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival and the beloved Kansas City staple, Tivol Jewels.

A few years later, Angela launched her own independent design studio, managing multiple projects from conception to completion and earning high praise from clients.

Ten years later, Angela took the leap and moved to San Diego. She worked at the Museum of Man for a year, spent another year in L.A., and then returned to San Diego to work for a large not-for-profit organization, where she remained for nearly a decade.

Recently, Angela has entered the promotional sales industry, attending trade shows and conferences to expand her knowledge and add a new segment to her client base.

Angela draws inspiration from her many interests, from hiking in nature and traveling the world to finding beauty in the simple, everyday objects around her beach community. She loves that no two days—or projects—are ever the same, which makes her work a lifelong passion.

Angela remains driven by her natural desire to help others bring their visions to life. She has partnered with small-business entrepreneurs to create marketing collateral and give their businesses a branded look—all while respecting their budgets.
