“Ma-Sa”, which means “journey” in Hebrew, is based on Neta Levi’s family’s personal journey. Though personal, the dream-like images are open to anyone’s interpretation, encouraging visitors to see their own memories in the work. All of Levi’s work indicates a longing for the Land of Israel. Childhood memories of the bustling open air Israeli marketplace – with its intense blending of people, goods, colors, scents and sounds, have inspired Levi’s work.
